Something Wicked This Way Comes . . . Again

There are four days that I'll never forget:

I'll never forget the day in 2001 when we launched MAG-10 — the world's first pro-steroid.

I'll never forget the day in 2004 when MAG-10 was officially deemed unlawful to sell as a dietary supplement, due to the Anabolic Steroid Control (ASC) Act of 2003 that banned nearly all steroid hormones.

I'll never forget the day in third grade when Mary Jane Kapinski slipped me "the tongue" when I sneaked a kiss off her on the playground.

And I'll never forget the day I found out a very potent, very cool hormone was left off the ASC Act of 2003.

I hope the point of that very last remembrance sank in; I hope that kiss thing didn't distract you. In case it did, here it is again:

Not only that, this hormone isn't even described, by definition, in the Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 2003 or its subsequent revision. (Being left off the list is a good thing.)

But there was one final test this sucker had to pass before we could consider producing it in one of our formulations; it had to meet standards outlined in DSHEA (the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994). So, on to the geeks and goons (that's scientists and lawyers) . . .

After our science and legal hotshots pored over the law and the science, we had one of those meetings where I usually get ticked off and start insulting people. There's really nothing more frustrating than attempting to get an agreement between a bunch of scientists and lawyers. I usually get so angry that I begin to reenact some of Daniel Plainview's scenes in There Will Be Blood — not good.

"I drink your Metabolic Drive milkshake!"

Anyhow, here's the consensus of the geeks and goons:

Yes, we can manufacture the compound, legally.

And, no, there's no guarantee that despite the fact the compound's legal, we still won't get pushback from certain agencies.

That was decisive, huh?

Are you kidding me? It's legal! As in, we're doing it. I'm giving the green light, the go-ahead, the thumbs up, the high sign, baby. Fire up the reactor, and get out of my way!

The Ultimate Cortisol Smart Bomb

So what exactly am I talking about?

This "mystery hormone" is found in man and many other vertebrate species. In humans, it's produced in the adrenal glands as an adrenal steroid. The chemical structure also contains an 11-keto group, which makes it neither related to, nor similar to Testosterone (the main reason why it's not banned).

If it's not an anabolic hormone, then how does it work?

What are its effects on the body?

And why would I want to use it?

Simply put, we've discovered the Ultimate Cortisol Smart Bomb. We can literally inhibit the activities of cortisol in certain tissues — fat and muscle — and not in others, like joints (where you need cortisol).

anime

The overall effect is supercharged insulin sensitivity in muscle and an inhibition of lipogenesis in fat, and a cortisol smart bomb that blows away the catabolic effects of cortisol in muscle. The net effect is a greatly improved body composition — a much, much harder and more-muscular physique, along with a significant increase in libido.

The name of our discovery is 17b-hydroxyadrenosterone — 11-T™ — and it's the perfect compound for hardcore bodybuilders and athletes who really want to make big gains, fast and legal.

The Problem With Cortisol

Before I tell you more about the product, I have to make a few quick points about cortisol for those who don't have time to pore through research papers.

Cortisol, as you probably know, is produced in the adrenal glands (as mentioned above). It's vital to health and your survival. Without it, you'd burst into a massive ball of nasty inflammation.

Cortisol is normally highest in the early morning and drops to almost zero by midnight. Of course, in times of stress, cortisol is released constantly and at pretty high levels (like the physiological stress experienced by weight-training athletes).

It increases blood sugar, raises blood pressure, and helps mobilize fat storage. However, it also eats away protein from muscles and uses the liberated amino acids to manufacture glucose in the liver for energy.

While it's essential for health, cortisol can also be the bodybuilder's worst enemy.

Scientists have long sought the anti-cortisol holy grail, but the traditional approach has been to simply suppress its production entirely. This "one-ton bomb" approach is literally hit or miss.

If you suppress too little cortisol, it's worthless. And if you suppress too much, it's counterproductive and possibly dangerous. That's why there haven't been any viable cortisol blockers on the supplement market.

That's where 11-T™ (17b-hydroxyadrenosterone) comes in. It belongs to a class of compounds called (this is a mouthful) 11b-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase type 1 reductase inhibitors (11-HD1 inhibitors) that regulate the amount of cortisol that makes it into specific tissues.

That's why we call it a cortisol smart bomb.

Now these 11-HD1 inhibitors don't do anything to affect the production of cortisol in the adrenal glands or its concentration in the blood; they just determine which tissues in the body are exposed to cortisol.

That means 11-T™ affects the way your body stores and releases fat — particularly the nasty visceral fat that leads to the dreaded beer belly.

Additionally, 11-T™ shuts down muscle-protein catabolism as well as the neoglucogenic metabolism of amino acids in the liver, thereby saving those amino acids for use in building muscle.

Cortisol, in selective and favorable amounts, can also affect the physiological dynamics of your blood vessels, making them less prone to constriction and more responsive to the pump from muscle contractions.

Into the Skin

The problem with making an oral17b-hydroxyadrenosterone product, at least for the time being, is developing an optimal delivery system — one that would not waste 100s of milligrams of material in order to get an effective dose in the body.

As it stands now, you'd have to swallow big handfuls of capsules to achieve the muscle-growing effects. Hardly practical.

So we took the logical course of action.

We attached an acetate molecule to 17b-hydroxyadrenosterone and made it a topical compound — one that would deliver the hormone into the skin.

Now you don't need me to tell you that this type of delivery system is wildly effective, as evidenced by long-standing hormone products like Testaderm and Androderm.

After all, you've got yards of skin and it's all permeable to targeted chemical compounds. Obviously, the skin contains fat cells, and a topical route is the most direct pathway to those pesky buggers.

Furthermore, the skin contains esterases that work favorably to enhance the effects of the compound.

Maximal effectiveness of 11-T™ is reached with a light, thin coat sprayed evenly over freshly showered — but absolutely dry — thighs, torso, and arms. The key is not to concentrate extra spraying over your problem-fat areas.

You just let 11-T™ dry a bit before getting dressed. It then goes to work managing the effects of cortisol and facilitating the building of new muscle as you go about your business.

And while those of you who are relative newcomers to topical products and who weren't around when Biotest routinely made use of such delivery systems, you'll soon grow accustomed to spraying your body down with 11-T™ after a shower.

(It's actually pretty much of a kick, and the skills you acquire while spraying down your body might come in handy some day if and when you restore an old car.)

When you examine the bottle, you might notice something unusual. Nowhere does the label explain exactly what it does.

The explanation is an FDA thing; the explanation is a legal thing.

Since 11-T™ is delivered into the skin, it can't be labeled as a "dietary supplement." The law requires us to call it a "sports skin tonic," and we can't list any benefits other than those that might relate directly to enhancing the skin.

That's okay. Our customers are usually a bright bunch that's accustomed to the vagaries and strange customs of our legal system.

To recap, used on clean skin once a day (about 35 sprays) 11-T™ does the following:

I'm telling you, one two-week "cycle" of 11-T™ will make you forget all about the Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 2003.

It's Sick Expensive — And Worth Every Penny

Before I get into the cost, I want to make a brief statement about another huge problem in our industry that just popped up, which will all but eliminate prohormone sales, including DHEA.

China, the world's #1 supplier of prohormones, has halted production of all hormone compounds not intended for drug use. This is due to the Olympics and the fact that the Chinese government, for the first time in history, became image-conscious. In fact, they dragged several plant managers off to one of those lovely Chinese prisons, never to be seen again.

This means that, unless some other country spins up hormone makin', United States supplement companies are SOL. No more DHEA; no more prohormones of any kind, no more nothin . . .

Not to fear, bucko, we're manufacturing everything here in the good ol' U. S. of A. to a purity level that literally exceeds our lab's reference standards. The expense is huge, too. We've gone to the nth degree, sparing no expense, making this formula perform at a level that's nothing short of mind-blowing.

Bottom line, 11-T™ is very, very expensive — $124.95 per bottle — and worth every penny.

Unfortunately, due to the iffy status of these products, we're only going to make and sell 11-T™ one batch at a time.

This means that when we're out of stock, we'll be out of stock in intervals of at least 8 weeks. The main reason is, I'm unwilling to stock up on a product that may be, without advanced notice, placed on "The List," leaving us with no alternative other than destroying the remaining inventory.

I fully expect we will completely sell out of stock within a week, and be out of stock for at least two months. Heck, we might not even make 11-T™ again.

That's just the way it is. So, don't blame me if you miss out, totally.

Like I said, one bottle of 11-T™ costs $124.95 and will last approximately three weeks, at maximum application. I'm recommending that you purchase two bottles, which is enough for three full cycles. (We recommend cycles of two weeks on, followed by at least two weeks off.)

As with any other bodybuilding product, we recommend you use 11-T™ when you mean serious business in the gym. In other words, save 11-T™ for those times when you're training hard and eating properly in a vicious attempt to build muscle and lose fat!

Great gains are back again!
